Measurements and studies are carried out on FINO3 to determine environmental conditions (meteorology, hydrology, etc.) and environmental impacts on benthos, fish, birds and marine mammals. The research projects also enable the further development and evaluation of measures that can be implemented during the expansion phases of offshore wind farms in order to reduce and avoid impacts.
